Urban Surf is an artificial surfing facility in the heart of the city. While providing the facility functions for the sports platform, we aimed to realize a unique atmosphere with the built environment.

We came up with the concept of surrounding the area with sea cliff-like buildings, to create a feeling of arriving at a secret beach, a perfect place for enjoying surfing and sunbathing.

The prefab timber-frame structure is elevated to level with the platform and consists of a restaurant, kitchen, shop, offices, and spectators terrace. The visual continues in the surrounding wall's outline, which also contains the changing rooms and storage.
